Victor - Stanwell's Voice
I'm Victor Agarwal your County Councillor for Stanwell and Stanwell Moor. Welcome to my column on the Spelthorne Labour website. On these pages you will be able to find out more about some of the work I have been doing to make Stanwell and Stanwell Moor a better place for all of us to live, plus there will be the chance for you to tell me what you would like to see happen in Stanwell and to pose your questions to me.
I'm a lifelong resident of Stanwell and have been representing the people of Stanwell since the age of 18 when I became a governor at Town Farm Primary School. In 1998 I became Spelthorne Borough Councillor for Stanwell North, and since 2003 I have been your County Councillor.
I have always wanted the chance to help people who do not have the opportunities that they deserve and serving as your County Councillor has given me a fantastic opportunity to help make some real improvements to Stanwell.
If you follow the links below you can find out about some of the things I have been campaigning for to make Stanwell better, including new sports equipment for local youth and CCTV by the parade of shops on Clare Road. You can also read more about me and find out what has been going on at the council.
